




ABOUT US
A Wing and A Prayer Brass Ensemble is a large musical group based in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Established in 2010, and operating as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the ensemble is a mission of the Emmaus Road Lutheran Church. It brings together brass musicians of all skill levels from Bucks County, Philadelphia, and parts of New Jersey. Known for their fun and enthusiastic performances, the ensemble plays a wide range of music, from classical, jazz and swing to contemporary and pop. They perform at various venues, including concerts and community events, with a special focus on bringing their music to senior living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and veterans' homes. Dedicated to their mission, the members enjoy performing together and for their audience.

Statement
A Wing and A Prayer Brass Ensemble is a group of passionate musicians dedicated to fostering and promoting the concept of a brass ensemble by spreading joy, inspiring, and uplifting audiences through outstanding live musical performances.
Core Objectives
Driven by a commitment to excellence and a love for music, we captivate audiences with a
diverse repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary pieces. Our specific goals are:

Enrichment: To contribute positively to the musical environment of the area we serve.

Membership: To provide an opportunity for individual musical expression and growth among our members.

Outreach: To bring live musical programs to those who cannot venture out to see them.

Community: To make music for the community, fostering local pride and affirming the community as a major source of our country’s strength, thereby reaffirming the position of community bands in American music.

Education: To establish a Youth Scholarship Fund to enable high school seniors to continue their education in the music field.​
